Palm springs is ideal for seniors travel. It's flat, it has a good transportation system, and lots of attractions are geared for seniors.

Palm Springs Markets

Every Thursday evening there's a celebration of local art in a street fair in downtown Palm Springs called Villagefest. The Certified Farmers Market is held every Saturday from 8:00a.m. to 12:30p.m. adjacent to the Camelot Theatres on 2300 E. Baristo Road or at the Palm Springs Mall on 2365 E. Tahquitz during summer months.

Easily reachable from Palm Springs for folks with a car is my favorite place for photography, Joshua Tree National Monument. Other places to explore include Indian Canyons, Andreas Canyon, and the Living Desert in Palm Desert. Some desert scenes are shown below.

Planning on a Winter Holiday in Palm Springs
